As a senior marketing major, it is surreal to believe that I will be officially beginning my professional career in just a short few months. Throughout these past four years at the University of Arizona, I have been engaged in a variety of clubs and organizations that have been incredibly fulfilling to my collegiate experience. I have served two terms on the Executive Council of the Arizona Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, Director of the Greek Student Alumni Relations Council, member of the Arizona Ambassadors Honorary, and one of the thirteen members of the Bobcats Senior Honorary. Additionally, I’ve used my education to serve as an Account Executive to the AdCats Project Team. Most recently, I served as a Court member to the 43rd Annual Fiesta Bowl where I represented the University of Arizona and the Tucson community on a statewide platform. My involvement in Greek life, the Eller College of Management, the Admissions Department, and the Alumni Association have all fostered my development both personally and professionally.
Last summer, I interned for Altria Group Distribution Company as a Field Sales Intern in Denver, Colorado. The summer before, I lived with a host family in Spain in order to complete my Spanish minor from the IE Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. After graduation, I will move to Chicago to work for PepsiCo as a Sales Associate within a rotational leadership development program. Upon completion of my undergraduate education, I plan to eventually further my learning by earning a Masters in Business Administration.
I firmly believe my time abroad, internship experience, and community involvement along with an academic focus have been the keys to determining my future. PepsiCo, the second largest food and beverage business in the world, is a company full of excitement, challenge, and commitment to excellence. With high market saturation and low consumer switching costs, the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry is highly competitive, but I am enthusiastic for this challenging environment. I am looking forward to using the skills, concepts, and positive habits I’ve learned and developed through my Eller experience in order to successfully develop my career.
