Mallory Beitner graduated in December 2009 with a major in Business management and Marketing. She has been working at E&Y Gallo Winery in Southern California.
Why did you choose to work for E&J Gallo Winery? The location, incredible training, motivated people, and I have always been an advocate of enjoying what you sell – who doesn’t like wine?!
Tell us about your job responsibilities and title. Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager for the Western Region means that I manage planning, budgeting, and execution of local, regional, and national programs while leveraging shopper insights in effort to drive category growth, sales, and build brand equity. I also communicate with cross functional partners in internal sales, marketing, finance, digital, and operations as well as external vendors, program partners, and retailers
What do you enjoy most about working at E&J Gallo Winery? What I enjoy most about working at Gallo is the continuous training and the importance of family.
What is your fondest Eller memory? All the group projects and meeting Warren Buffet on the Eller Trip!
What advice to you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path? Continue to challenge yourself in each role you have and remember to learn something new every day! And Bear Down!
