How did you land this internship?
I applied online and with the help of MIS career coach Nancy Roberts and received an email from a recruiter asking to do a phone interview. Next I did three consecutive in-person interviews and was offered the position!
What was your favorite part of the experience?
DOGS. DOGS. DOGS. I could bring my dogs right to work with me every day. I had a dog bed and toys all set up in my cubicle and got to have my two best friends with me every day!
What big project did you work on this summer?
I worked on a proof-of-concept project for the integration team trying to prove whether or not we could migrate MuleSoft applications over to the Microsoft Azure platform.
What advice do you have for other students seeking a similar internship?
Don’t expect to know everything you need to know or think that you need to know everything from the start. Come in with the expectation that you will learn a lot and grow. And don’t be afraid to ask questions!
