Kaylee Browning

How did you land this internship? I found the ASICS internship via Glassdoor.

What was a typical day like? The typical day for the Human Resources intern is meeting with the different subdivisions of the Human Resources Department and take notes on what they do for the on boarding process.  Research is also necessary to see how other companies conduct onboarding and how certain procedures are executed and how those procedures can become more effective.

What was your favorite part of the experience? My favorite part of this internship experience, was being able to meet with the different subdivisions in the Human Resources Department.  During the meetings with them I was able to further discover the roles that each division plays in the HR department.

If you worked on a big project, please describe it.  My internship project was to improve the on-boarding procedures, and make suggestions on how to improve the overall process.

How did Eller prepare you for your internship? Eller helped prepare me for my internship by being able to communicate effectively with my co-workers and fellow interns.  I was also able to use the research tools that I was taught in my courses at Eller.
