Tell us about the process of interviewing with this company.
Two in-person interviews and a conversation over the phone was the extent of the interviewing process. In terms of the interviews themselves, they were more heavily focused on analyzing the soft skills and finding well-rounded driven individuals rather than technical ability.
What previous experience have you had that you think contributed to your success securing this position? (ex. campus involvement, leadership, past internship)
Holding a previous internship at J.P. Morgan attributed to my landing the position as well as my involvement on campus serving as a peer educator in the office of Student Engagement and Career Development.
What are you most looking forward to about your position/company?
Having the opportunity to be in a two-year rotational program that will allow myself to learn and work across various lines of business at a global financial institution while giving me the skillsets and experience to jumpstart my career.
Any word of advice you could give to your fellow Eller Students?
– Experience as much as you can and challenge yourself to constantly step outside of you comfort zone.
– Learn from everyone around you and support one another’s successes.
– By being proactive and intentional early on in your time at Eller and leveraging all of the resources Eller provides, your opportunities are endless.
– Build a life, not a resume.
