Macy Forteza graduated in May 2018 with a major in Business Marketing. Macy currently works at E&J Gallo Winery as their Sales Representative in Orange County, CA.
Why did you choose to work for Gallo? The interview process stood out to me among all other companies because of how comfortable and fun it was! Everyone’s attitude and passion for the company was so inspiring.
Tell us about your job responsibilities and title. Sales Representative; I manage a fun territory and get to sell wine every day! This includes building relationships with various types of people and using consultative selling skills in order to maintain a mutual business partnership.
What do you enjoy most about working at Gallo? I LOVE the people! Everyone I’m surrounded by is unique in their own way, but we are all very like minded at the same time. We’re all working towards the same goal and the support system has been amazing.
What is your fondest Eller memory? Winning the Business Communication Case Competition first semester, and serving as the Co-President of the American Marketing Association.
What advice to you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path? Pursue as many leadership roles and opportunities as possible, be a team player, and have a positive attitude!
