Tripp is currently a graduate student at the University of Southern California where he enjoys studying, exercising, and cooking. He appreciates all the transferable skills and resources provided by Eller that led him to the USC graduate program. Tripp’s favorite memory as an Arizona student was the lighting of “A” mountain at Homecoming, and his favorite Eller memory was the Eller African American Honorary Awards Dinner.  

What do you do on a typical day at school?  Exercise, go to class, spend some time in the hammock, cook

How did you come across this opportunity? I applied for the graduate program.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your graduate program?  The most rewarding aspect was learning.

What skills do you find important in graduate programs?  Taking notes, studying, networking with other students

In what ways did Eller prepare you for your graduate program?  Eller and USC are both schools so most of the skills were transferable

Any advice for student looking to enter a similar graduate program?  Get good grades and shoot your shot

What is your favorite UA/Eller memory? Homecoming. The lighting of A mountain will go down as one of my favorite UA memories. Also the EAAH Awards Dinner that is Eller specific.
